53 EastEnders pictures for next week reveal resident left for dead in horror blaze and shock kidnap outcome

EastEnders spoilers follow with your weekly picture gallery above, which previews all of next week’s huge developments.

Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley), as viewers know, is in debt to Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) and is struggling to raise the cash needed to pay the villain back.

The former con-man is also battling a gambling addiction, which has led to him having serious financial issues.

Next week, his struggles intensify and, after a passing comment from Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy), he decides to burn down the cafe and claim on the insurance!

Yes, really.

With Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) awaiting his arrival at Walford East for a romantic dinner, Rocky follows through on his plan as he sets fire to the cafe following another spell of dodgy electrics.

While out and about, Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) spots the blaze and attempts to extinguish it, but it explodes and knocks him unconscious, trapping him inside.

Will Bobby die?

What’s more, will Rocky get away with his heinous crime? And how will Kathy react when she sees the state of her beloved cafe?

Away from the fire drama, Albie Watts is still missing and the residents of Walford join the search, while Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) confides in Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) about the £50,000 ransom note, with the hard-man agreeing to give her the cash.

Phil insists on doing the money drop himself while Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) urges Sharon to let her do it, with Sharon subsequently agreeing to the latter option.
