Inside EastEnders star James Farrar’s life off screen with adorable family and intense fitness regime
The actor gave an in-depth insight into his 18-year relationship with his wife
JAMES Farrar has became a fan-favourite in EastEnders, but he’s worlds away from his character in real life.
The actor, 36, joined the BBC One soap back in 2021 when he was introduced as the long lost brother of Sharon Watts.
He plays ladies man Zack who was at the centre of one of the soaps most important storylines.
But off camera James is a family man, having a toddler with his wife Ali.
The couple married in March 2017 and welcomed their daughter Summer, four, later that year.
James and Ali are childhood sweethearts, having been together now for 18 years.
Talking about their relationship, he previously said: “When we first met we were “unavailable”.
“Our interests were football, netball, partying and being rascals. We couldn’t help falling for each other and a lot has happened since.
“In our 12 years together Ali has spent time travelling the world educating herself on Eastern and Western philosophy. I spent a year away from London filming a TV show. We moved to Blackheath together and got married.”
The star has embraced fatherhood as he often proudly shows off Summer and her achievements.
When she was born, he said: “Life will never stand still again and nor will I! #bobbinglife.”
Both are fitness fanatics, with the actor posting insights into his workouts on Instagram.
It’s no surprise given his ripped body that he regularly shows off to his fans.
James also appears to like the odd ice bath.
The happy couple were previously left devastated when their gorgeous cat was killed.
