Bobby Brazier’s character could be set for some drama when he returns to EastEnders after his Strictly Come Dancing success.
Molly Rainford – who plays Anna Knight on the BBC soap – has opened up more about Anna’s future in Walford and what her character may have to navigate in the coming months as the soap takes on a huge Christmas storyline. Before Freddie Slater temporarily departed the Square, he was locked in a love triangle with Anna and Bobby Beale.
It looks like that could continue in the coming weeks and months as Molly teased who her character might end up with on the soap. She said: “I think Anna realised pretty soon after she arrived that she had feelings for Bobby Beale. But it’s a hard situation to navigate when you’ve got someone who’s part of your family, but not your family. It would be really cute if they could make a go of things.”

She told TV Times: “Freddie is the obvious guy for her to go for, but maybe the underdog will surprise her in the end!” Bobby has taken a break from the soap whilst he takes part in Strictly Come Dancing, where he is partnered with Dianne Buswell. Bobby previously opened up about his exit storyline on the soap, and that he hoped it would be the end of Theo.
“The show is in a great place, and being a Slater is my favourite thing about being on the show. Those girls, I could speak about them all day I really love them, and what they do and how they do it and who they are on and off screen,” he said, before adding of working with William Ellis – who plays Theo, “No, I hope I have scared him away forever. However, Will Ellis who plays him I absolutely love but Theo can do one. Will is a sweetheart. I haven’t got a clue what is coming up.”

On the Christmas death, he confessed: “I have no idea who the body is, no one knows genuinely. I just hope it’s not me!” Bobby has gained quite a following on Strictly and he has built a strong friendship with Dianne Buswell.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror about Dianne, he said: “I could speak about Dianne all day. She’s just a diamond – you know what, I’m falling in love with her. She’s just great. I feel very lucky.”
