Sonia and Reiss’ relationship is one of the newer ones on EastEnders. The two crossed paths for the first time at Dott Cotton’s funeral and struck a chord. Soon after, the two started a full fledged relationship. However, it hasn’t been devoid of ups and downs, or downright disasters. Their first jolt came when Sonia realised that Reiss’ was still married to his first wife,\ who happens to be under care at a long-term care facility after suffering a stroke.
Eventually, the two of them reconciled on EastEnders. Reiss assured her that his wife would actually want him to move on in life and find new love. A few heartbeats later, the couple’s relationship was shaken when Reiss was mistaken that Sonia was pergnant. However, the misunderstanding brought to the surface the massive truth that Reiss could not never father a child. However, upon reconciliation, the two of them decided to start a family together through IVF.
EastEnders: The Beginning Of The End For Reiss-Sonia?
The spoilers for EastEnders reveal that the upcoming week will bring a huge jolt for Sonia and Reiss. The couple will get through the first round of IVF. However, Reiss’ behaviour will rub Sonia the wrong way. Eventually, pushing her into taking a rather rash decision. Next week, Sonia will get exceedingly irritated when Reiss attempts to administer her IVF medication. Her attempts to push back Reiss will end up in a heated row between the couple. In a fit of rage, she will tell him that she is not sure anymore if the IVF arrangement will work between them.
Sonia and Reiss’ romance is already resting on a shaky foundation on EastEnders. We wonder if this will prove to be the beginning of the end for them. Reiss as it is has been coming across as very shady. There have been many speculations that eventually he will be revealed as an evil character. For all we know he could be lying about what happened to his wife-Debbie. We wonder if he is somehow responsible for her current state. Moreover, if that is true, then Sonia could be in a lot more danger with him than she realizes.
