EastEnders spoilers: Fears for Albie’s life as terrified Sharon puts up a reward
Sharon Watts’ (Letitia Dean) worst nightmare came true in recent EastEnders scenes when Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) revealed that son Albie had been kidnapped.
Sharon was beside herself with worry as the residents of Albert Square set about trying to track Albie down, and that is set to continue in the coming days.
While the search for Albie continues, Sharon keeps the ransom note hidden from the police, fearing for her son’s safety.
However, she later reveals all to Kat and Phil Mitchell (Jessie Wallace and Steve McFadden), who agree to lend her the money to pay the ransom.
Of course, Albie hasn’t really been kidnapped, and Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) is soon fuming at Keanu for letting things get so far.
However, she is soon sending a second ransom note with details about the time and location of the drop.
Sharon is determined to do absolutely everything as per the kidnapper’s instructions to prevent any harm coming to Albie, but Phil is keen to go in heavy handed.
Keanu grows stressed as he worries that the game may be up, and demands that he should be the one to go.
Eventually, Sharon agrees that they should go together, leaving Keanu in a difficult position.
In a bid to prevent their involvement being discovered, Karen sends a secret text from a burner phone to Sharon, demanding that the exchange be made alone.
At No. 43, Keanu manages to convince Sharon to let Karen do the drop, sharing his fears that Phil may’s heavy handedness may cause problems.
When Karen heads out to pick up Albie from Malcom, she must act normal to prevent arousing suspicion.
Will she keep her cool, or will Sharon learn the vile truth about her son’s disappearance?
