TV Season & Spoilers had previously brought to you the shocking news of Karen Taylor’s shocking exit from EastEnders. Ever since the news broke out, there have been many speculations regarding how she would leave the square. Among the many plausible postulations, the most talked about was the possibility of Karen (Lorraine Stanley) perishing in the fire that breaks out in Kathy’s cafe. However, going by how the story in currently progressing, that does not seem very viable anymore.
EastEnders spoilers reveal that it is after all, Rocky who sets Kathy’s cafe on fire. Hoping to pay Nish off with the insurance money. However, Rocky’s plans always have a way of backfiring massively. Staying in the theme, the spoilers reveal that his step grandson Bobby gets caught up in the fire. Interestingly, there was no mention of Karen anywhere in relation with the fire. Thus, we can assume that her exit is going to come tied in with some other heated storyline.
Keanu Seals Karen’s Fate on EastEnders
Currently, on EastEnders, Karen is part of a rather volatile story, where Keanu has staged Albie’s kidnapping. His plan was to take his son away from Sharon and escape oversees. However, it royally fell apart, and he had to tell Sharon that their boy was kidnapped. While in reality he was safe at Karen’s sister’s house. Furthermore, he lied to the cops and nudged them in Dorian’s direction, telling them that he had threatened Sharon earlier that week. Later, to sell the kidnapping, he dropped off a note at Sharon’s asking for 50 grand.
When Karen learnt the truth, she was stunned. She is now pushing Keanu to come clean to Sharon on EastEnders, before things get anymore worse. Unfortunately, he seems in no mood to back off and is convinced that he can handle the situation without getting himself or Karen in trouble with the cops. But is that really possible? We have been watching Keanu for a long time now, and he honestly isn’t sharp enough to pull of a con like this!
Thus, in the end of the day, when the world comes crashing down on him, mommy dearest will have to come to his rescue. Lorraine Stanley had previously commented that she would never watch EastEnders again if they killed her character. We feel it was perhaps a hint at the fact that death is not on the cards for Karen. So what could lead her to her exit? There is only one viable possibility here. If the cops catch up with Keanu’s ploy, Karen will have to take the fall. She will make a false confession that she was behind the kidnapping and extortion.
