Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ who Mack saves and who ‘dies’ in crash after hand clue
Emmerdale viewers believe the final scene of Tuesday night's episode gave away whether Mackenzie Boyd saved Charity Dingle or Chloe Harris, a their car dangled off of a cliff
Emmerdale fans think a clue at the end of Tuesday’s episode may have given away who Mackenzie Boyd saved amid a car crash twist.
Chloe Harris and Charity Dingle were left fighting for their lives, as the crashed vehicle they were in was dangling off of a cliff. As Mack, who had escaped the wreck, held onto the car to stop it crashing off the cliff edge, he was soon faced with a devastating decision.
As he tried to guide both women out of the car at the same time, the car began to drop off the edge with both women still inside. They both screamed at Mack to save them, before they both reached their hands out to him hoping to be grabbed.
Mack was seen staring at the women who were pleading for him to save them, waving their hands out of the car as the vehicle began to drop. As the episode came to an end, we saw Mack grab one hand and seemingly pull someone to safety as the car then crashed to the ground below.

Just before and then again after the car smashed to the floor, tumbling off of the cliff, we saw Mack’s hand connect with another hand. He seemed to grab one of the women and pull her out of the car, but we didn’t see who or if it was both women. Viewers will find out the fates of the characters on Wednesday night.
But some fans think they have already cracked the case, and that a major clue in a scene may confirm who Mack saved. We saw the hand of the person rescued, but of course this could be a stunt double to hide the identity of the woman. That said, fans believe it’s the hand of the person being saved.
If this is the case, the nails might be a giveaway, in their eyes, that Mack saves ex Charity and not current flame Chloe. The nails of the mystery character were not painted and were cut short, like Charity’s nails. Meanwhile, Chloe’s nails moments before the crash were painted and were not short.

Others claimed Mack using his right hand to grab the person also suggested he reached out to the right, meaning he would have grabbed Charity. Taking to social media to share their theories, one viewer said: “Charity, Chloe’s nails are longer and don’t have any blood on them.”
Another agreed: “Short nails! So Charity,” while a third fan said: “Charities because Chloe had long painted nails.” On the use of his right hand, one fan said: “It was his right hand . . So obviously Charity.” This was echoed by another comment that read: “He put out his right hand! He saves charity, whining Chloe has gone for a fly!”
Others disagreed though, believing it was Chloe’s hand we saw him grabbing. One fan said: “I thought he’d save Charity, but that hand looked like Chloe’s,” as another commented: “So here to tell whose hand he grabbed but the skin on the hand looked pretty young and it looked slender..so it could we be chloe’s.”
