When Nish spots Eve and Suki kissing on the CCTV footage from Minute Mart on EastEnders, he is beyond livid. He flies off the handle and smashes up his store in a fit of rage. He then sets out to return home, hoping to confront Suki over what he just witnessed on the screen. But what is really going on in his head? He has been in the exact situation before. And that ended in a murder and him spending 20 years in prison.
EastEnders star Navin Chowdhry states that Nish absolutely adores Suki. He is madly in love with her, in his own twisted, obsessive and crazy way, of course! Moreover, he hopes that he can somehow make her feel the same love for him as he feels for her. Unfortunately, his twisted form of love also comes aided with jealousy and violent outbursts. Thus, when Nish thought Suki was having an affair all those years ago, he killed the man and served the time for it.
“Now he has evidence that it’s happened again,” Navin tells the media. Thus, it sparks this unimaginable rage in him. He is angrier than any of us have ever seen him. So it is scary to even imagine what he is going to do with the truth. For Nish, Suki’s affair with Eve is the “ultimate betrayal”. More so because it is humiliating and degrading Navin feels. The actor suggests that for someone like Nish, who is so obsessive and controlling, to know that his own wife was having an affair behind his back is the biggest blow.
Speaking about what Nish’s next moves on EastEnders could be, Navin admits that we all know what Nish is capable of. “he has killed because of jealousy before, and now his motivations are clearly as they were 20 years ago,” he states. The jail time has not changed him one bit. In fact, just recently, we saw him blowing up on Suki. He went straight for her throat when she tried to tell him that Ravi could have murdered Ranvir.
Thus, it is certain that he fully intends to go down the violent road yet again on EastEnders. “He’s prepared to kill for the love of his life,” Navin believes. Does that mean Eve’s life is in danger? Because it is unlikely that Nish would kill Suki. He does want to still keep her by her side. No matter what that would cost him. Or do you think this time he might have a double murder on his mind? Which would put both – Eve, as well as, Suki’s life in danger!
