BBC EastEnders spoilers drop huge new Christmas death clue as body ‘sealed’ in Keanu twist

EastEnders has revealed a major new spoiler which sets the scene for the big Christmas Day murder twist.

Viewers know that a mystery male character dies in the big episode, with six female characters at the scene of the crime – The Queen Vic. Now, a new spoiler has confirmed a huge event being held at the pub in this very episode, which could give away the identity of the victim who dies.

For months fans have tried to work out what happens in the scenes and who dies, as well as who the killer is. Clues along the way, and in the special flashforward scene that aired in February, have hinted at what goes down but nothing is concrete.

Now, new spoilers for December have revealed what else happens, or is planned to happen, on the day of the episode, after speculation earlier in the year. It’s now revealed that The Queen Vic will host the wedding reception of potential killer Sharon Watts and her partner, possible victim, Keanu Taylor.

Fans had been left confused in February as Sharon appeared in the clip in a wedding dress, while she was not engaged or with anyone at this time. The pub was also decorated for a wedding and it wasn’t clear who this was for, despite the dress twist.

Recently we saw Sharon and Keanu get engaged, again, and pictures from filming on location confirmed Sharon and Keanu would wed, or would at least attend their wedding day which is on Christmas Day. Now, spoilers see Sharon confirm that this Christmas, she and Keanu will have their reception in the iconic pub.

So the wedding decor is definitely for her and they are the couple set to celebrate in the very same venue someone is murdered. So with Keanu confirmed to be at the venue, does this seal his fate as the victim on the floor in the same episode?

Keanu now has a reason to be in a suit, with the dead body shown wearing one, and he also has a reason to be at the pub alongside his bride Sharon. So does he head for the reception and end up losing his life, and might his recent lies lead to his murder?

Viewers know that Keanu was plotting against Sharon over their son Albie, even orchestrating a kidnapping with the help of his mother Karen Taylor. Of course he changed his mind and they reunited, with Sharon unaware of the truth.

But surely it’s only a matter of time before Sharon finds out what Keanu was planning, so could she plot revenge on their wedding day? Might a row over recent goings on before or after the reception lead to his death in The Vic?
