BEN Mitchell issues an ultimatum to struggling Jay Brown in EastEnders next week.
The two men have been struggling in their own ways following the tragic death of Lola Pearce earlier this year.
While Ben has battled an eating disorder, Lola’s husband Jay has been struggling to sleep and deal with his grief.
In recent weeks, he has grown close to Nadine, a sex worker who bears a passing resemblance to his late wife.
Now upcoming EastEnders scenes will see Jay try drugs as a way to numb his grief, take some ketamine that Nadine has in her flat.
Later, he asks Gina if she has a drug dealer but she refuses.
She then invites Ben to The Albert to discuss her concerns about Jay.
Furious at what he hears, Ben gives Jay an ultimatum – he has to stop the drugs or he’ll kick him out.
Later in The Vic, Jay promises to do better but things go from bad to worse when Nadine arrives at the pub.
Will Jay be able to get things under control?
