I’m A Celebrity’s Danielle Harold was woken by a FROG running across her face in camp.

At 3.56am in the morning a frog jumped on Danielle’s body, then onto her hand and finally her face before jumping off into the surrounding area of the camp. When she woke up, actor Danielle told fellow soap star Nick: “Nick, I had a frog on my cheek last night!”

Laughing, Nick said: “Oh, no babes!” In the Bush Telegraph Danielle added: “A frog on my face… why me? Why was there a frog on my face… agh! Do I get a star for that or something?”

Talk in camp turned to films and actor Ryan Gosling, to which Jamie Lynn said: “He’s a lovely person in real life. When I was younger I grew up around him because he was on The Mickey Mouse Club with my sister. Him, my sister, Justin [Timberlake], Christina [Aguilera]… all of them were on The Mickey Mouse Club. Justin and JC [from NSYNC].”

Josie in the Bush Telegraph said: “Even though she’s brought up with a very different childhood, she’s still very, very normal.” It comes after Grace Dent quit the series this week after sparking concern with viewers. The food critic, 50, known for her strong opinions on cuisine, had looked pale and a shadow of herself on Sunday night’s show and said on camera “I just want to go home”.

On Monday morning, a spokesperson for the ITV confirmed Grace’s premature exit from the show. They said: “Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike.”

Announcing the sad news this evening, Ant McPartlin began the show by saying: “Big news in the jungle – sadly, grace dent has left the camp for medical reasons but she’s doing fine and we all send her our best.” Dec Donnelly added: “We certainly do.”

Breaking her silence in a letter to her campmates on Monday night’s show, she explained her reasons for leaving. It read: “My Dear campmates, I’m so sorry to let you down. I have left the camp for medical reasons. My heart is broken, I have loved and enjoyed getting to know you all. You’ve held me up and it’s been a pleasure being your friend through this experience. Leaving you all at this stage will be one of the saddest things in my life. I love you all. Your friend, Miss Grace Dent.”

In response, EastEnders actress Danielle broke down in tears and shouted out: “Love you, Grace.” While Frankie Dettori said: “Grace, we miss you.” Marvin Humes also yelled: “Miss you, Grace.” He added: “She hasn’t let us down!”
