Bobby Brazier has BANNED family member from Strictly audience after long-running feud

Jackiey watches her grandson every week on TV

BOBBY BRAZIER barred his gran Jackiey Budden from the audience of Strictly – even as he danced a tribute to her late daughter, his mum Jade Goody.

There is a long-running feud between 66-year-old Jackiey and the EastEnders actor’s father Jeff Brazier, who has been allowed into the BBC1 studios to see his son compete every week.

Jackiey recently said she was “a very proud nan” and watched her grandson every week on TV.

But she added that Jeff had been “a c**k for f**ing nine years”.

Of the 22 tickets that Bobby, 20, has been allocated to his family, not one has gone to Jackiey.

And now he is favourite to leave the show in tonight’s semi-finals, it could mean she has been completely denied the chance to watch him.

A TV insider said: “There is a lot of friction between the Brazier side of the family and Jackiey for several long-standing reasons.

“But viewers have been surprised not to see Jackiey in the Strictly audience as she is Bobby’s grandmother.

“The prospect she is now facing is either not getting to see Bobby before he exits the semi-final, or not being allowed to watch him in person if he makes it to the final and wins the glitterball.”

The show is filmed in Elstree Studios, Hertfordshire, 16 miles from Jackiey’s home in Bermondsey, South East London, and 36 minutes by train.

Two weeks ago, Bobby danced with pro partner Dianne Buswell to This Woman’s Work by Maxwell.

In an emotional clip shown moments before the routine, he dedicated it to his family and his mum, saying he’d like to spend a day with her “just to see where I get my smile from”.

Over the past 12 weeks, Bobby has been cheered on by Jeff, 44, and his wife Kate Dwyer, or by his younger brother Freddie, 19.

Jade, who starred in 2002’s Big Brother, died at 27 in 2009 after being diagnosed with cervical cancer.

Jackiey had joined her daughter in the BB house in 2007 for the celebrity version of the show.

Jade was the first reality star to become a millionaire on the back of her TV appearances and spin off deals.

Strictly and Bobby’s team declined to comment.
