BBC EastEnders’ Jack Branning ‘sealed’ as Christmas death after Stacey twist and Denise clue

EastEnders may have hinted which male character will die on Christmas Day.
Jack Branning could be the unlucky male victim as the brutal scenes edge closer. Viewers know that one male, tipped to be either Jack, Phil Mitchell, Keanu Taylor, Rocky Cotton, Nish Panesar, Ravi Gulati and Dean Wicks, will die in The Queen Vic in gruesome circumstances.
At the scene of the crime are Stacey Slater, Denise Fox, Sharon Watts, Suki Panesar, Linda Carter and Kathy Beale, with one of them tipped to be the killer. Serval clues have teased who dies in recent months, but the truth will remain under wraps until the moment airs on Christmas Day.
Now, Thursday’s episode may have aired the biggest clues yet that Jack could die at Christmas, amid a betrayal. On Thursday, we saw Jack give into passion with Stacey amid his marriage woes with wife Denise.

Denise now has a reason to possibly want Jack dead if she was to find out about the fling with Stacey. After all, her green dress worn in the big Christmas episode could represent ‘envy’, so could she lash out at Jack in reaction to him cheating?
Speaking of the dress colours, the scene where Stacey and Jack kissed shows Stacey in a red top. Stacey is also wearing red during the shock death, so is this a hint that Jack will be the victim?
A past comment months ago during Denise’s clash with former fling Ravi Gulati saw Jack commenting that dinner with the character “wouldn’t kill them”. At the time fans wondered if this was alluding to Jack possibly being killed off – and in the latest episode Nish said something needed to be done about Jack, as he got closer to the truth about Eve Unwin’s disappearance.
Then there’s the fact he has officially been named as a potential victim. The promo images for the big event show Jack alongside the six other possible victims, as well as the six potential killers – known as The Six.
Jack is shown wearing the same suit and the famous cufflinks that everyone is wearing, and the outfit that will likely be on the body this Christmas. Not only that but some fans wondered if it was a coincidence that in the photos, Jack is the only one facing a certain way and the only one with his outfit buttons undone. So amid his fling with Stacey which ties him to two of The Six, could Jack be headed for a gruesome fate?
