EastEnders spoilers: Kathy Beale drops one of The Six spectacularly in it after Keanu’s murder
Anxious Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) seems to have a bit less of a killer instinct than the rest of The Six in EastEnders – and has made quite the blunder under police interrogation.
Proving that she may be the weaker link as the women get their stories straight and attempt to ward off the police, the stalwart – who was most staunchly in favour of going to the police in the first place – made a big mistake.
And it may have severe consequences for one member of the killer sextet.
Detectives had plenty of questions after an almost lifeless Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) was found clobbered on the floor of the Queen Vic.
The Six were open about the fact they were present, but they have tried to pin it on secretly dead Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
With Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) having stabbed him to death in order to save Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), her friends helped her dispose of the body.
Now, they have to just ensure that a) he is never found and b) they can convince the cops that he was the one who attacked Nish after a big fight and hostage situation.

With Nish on life support but seemingly out of the woods, Kathy, Denise, Sharon, Stacey and Linda were being questioned.
All were giving across the impression that Keanu was armed with a knife, which is why they couldn’t contact the police earlier.
Denise claiming to be Linda to a visiting policeman at the Vic (why, Denise!?) was explained as her being forced by Keanu to ward him off.
And they have cited Keanu and Nish’s feud and the businessman’s mocking of the disastrous wedding as the catalyst of the fight.
Okay, some of it may be a stretch but it can check out if everyone is careful.
Kathy, however, felt the pressure more than anyone and firstly forgot details of where Keanu was meant to have gone and what prompted the fight.
Worst of all, she accidentally went off on a tangent and revealed that Nish’s wife Suki (Balvinder Sopal) had fallen in love with Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
This piqued the interest of detectives – it gives Suki quite the motive.
At the hospital, Suki was taken aback to be asked about this, and she insisted that it was irrelevant, but Kathy has dropped her in it a fair bit.
And that’s not all she has to deal with – her ex Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) is sniffing around, convinced that there is more to the events in the Vic than meets the eye.
Having drunkenly stumbled around the Square around the same time as the murder and the cover-up, he is recalling moments that he saw – and he told a panicked Kathy that he wants answers over Sharon in particular.
And, speaking of Sharon, the police got wind of Keanu discovering that he is not Albie’s dad – and wondered why she hadn’t said this.
The wheels are coming off and The Six are going to have to work hard to fix the cracks that are starting to shed light on the truth.
