EastEnders actress Shana Swash gives birth to her first child and reveals adorable name

FORMER EastEnders star Shana Swash has announced she’s given birth to her first child.
Actress Shana, 33, who played Demi Miller in the BBC soap, posted some black and white snaps of the tot to Instagram yesterday.
In her caption, she revealed her bundle of joy’s adorable name, writing, “Kitty Frances Swash Jones. 18.12.2023.”
Her followers flooded the comments with their well-wishes, with cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch writing, “Aww amazing amazing news, congratulations to you both, how adorable xxxx.”
Shana made her pregnancy public back in June, sharing a photo of her baby scan alongside her fiancé Nick Jones.
She wrote at the time: “PENDING….BABY JONES 5TH DECEMBER 2023.”
Nick and Shana have been together since 2016 and got engaged in August 2021.
The actress made her first appearance on the BBC soap in 2004 as her brother Joe Swash’s on-screen sister.
Her alter-ego was involved in a number of gripping storylines including a teenage pregnancy.
She decided to leave the Square with mum Rosie and daughter Alesha for a better life in 2006.
Since her stint on EastEnders, Shana has appeared in Doctors, After You’ve Gone and River City.
However her most recent income has come from her new business Swash & Jones coffee co. that she set up with Nick.
Their coffee shop is based in Barnard Park in Islington, London.
