EastEnders drops huge hint Ian Beale is the Christmas Day murder victim with telltale Kathy and Cindy clue
EASTENDERS appeared to drop a huge hint that Ian Beale could be the body on the pub floor this Christmas with a telltale clue.
Speculation over who the victim could be has been rife ever since the BBC soap aired a special flashback episode in February to kick-off the long-running female-led The Six storyline.
In tonight’s episode, a huge clue pointed in the direction of Ian Beale, played by Adam Woodyatt, being the one to find himself murdered this winter.
With relations between the Beale clan at an all time low following the arrival of Cindy (Michelle Collins) back in Walford, tensions have been brewing.
In an apparent bid to bring the family back together, Rocky Cotton, played by Brian Conley, seized an opportunity to get his wife Kathy back in the same room as Ian and Cindy.
Although rather than saving relations for the sake of the family, it was clear that skint Rocky was saving his own skin by purely hoping that a family meal would heal the rifts and he and Kathy could move back to the Beale home – a move that would see him save up his cash.
Just mere moments into the meal, with insults flying, it did not take long for everyone to realise that Rocky had bent the truth to get them all around one table.
Furious Cindy and Ian opted to leave but not before she had another face-off with Kathy.
As the two ladies bickered, an eerie foreshadow appeared to hint that it could be Ian who is the Christmas Day murder victim.
During their row, Kathy ordered the pair to get out, saying: “You are such a mug ain’t you? Oh, go on, just get out!”
She then added: “Living under one roof? There’d be murders before Christmas!”
Cindy then shot back: “Yeah, well at least we agree on one thing.”
It has prompted theory that the line could be a reference to the impending murder with Ian seeming a likely victim.
Writing online, one fan picked up on the moment, saying: “Ooooh ‘murders before Christmas’.”
Another added: “”There’ll be murders before Christmas” 😄😄😄👌 #EastEnders”
Whilst a third penned: “Huge hint dropped there!!”
