EastEnders icon Tamzin Outhwaite reunited with a former soap legend four years after leaving the soap for good.
The actress, who played Mel Owen in the BBC One soap, shared a cute snap alongside her bad boy on-screen partner Martin Kemp, who played Steve Owen.
Tazmin shared a behind the scenes look as she recently starred in the families BBC special titled The Kemps: All Gold.
Alongside the series of Instagram snaps, she penned: ‘A little BTS of The Kemps All Gold @bbciplayer which was on over Christmas. @bbctwo

Tamzin played Mel in EastEnders initially between 1998 and 2002. The actress reprised her role 16 years later, with Mel arriving back in the Square in 2018 – with a son named Hunter.
It all ended in tragedy, however, as Mel was killed- in a similar manner to her after a devastating car crash.

While she survived the initial crash – in a similar manner to her late ex Steveas she is caught in a catastrophic car crash following an intense chase from a Mitchell.she was later knocked down by an oncoming lorry as a devastated Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) watched on.
Tamzin admitted that she was sad at the time when Mel died but later revealed that she is now ‘glad’ about the finality of it.
‘At first I was sad that Mel died,’ she told Inside Soap, ‘And now I am pleased because it means the door is closed and it’s done.’
While she says she was very fond of the character she played, Tamzin welcomed the idea that she couldn’t go back.
‘Part of the excitement of being an actor is the uncertainty and not knowing what the next job is,’ she said.
