EastEnders fans blast soap bosses for ‘ruining’ character – fuming ‘they’re a right drip now!’
EASTENDERS fans have blasted bosses for ‘ruining’ a character as they branded him a ‘right drip now’.
The BBC One soap has been airing scenes showing Keanu Taylor and Sharon Watts growing close again.
However, all is not what it seems as Keanu has been plotting with his mother Karen to win Sharon back.
The plan is to ensure Sharon doesn’t leave the country for Abu Dhabi with his son Albie.
He is also plotting to kidnap their son as soon as he gets on his birth certificate once he marries Sharon (Letitia Dean).
It comes as the mechanic is already restricted from seeing his first-born Peggy who lives in Portugal with his ex Louise Mitchell.
But EastEnders fans appear to have had enough with the storyline and the portrayal of Keanu’s character, who is played by Danny Walters.
Taking to social media, one fan vented: “They have really turned Keanu into a right drip.. I used to like his character a lot until they ruined him.”
A second wrote: “Keanu is making me bang my head against the wall, he needs to go I’ve had enough of him NOW.”
“Is it just me or is Keanu’s current behaviour lining him up perfectly to be the Christmas day body? Right now, I’d quite like it to be him,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “The real Keanu loves Sharon and I think once Karen leaves he’ll fall for Sharon again for real and the marriage will be legit.”
Meanwhile, Lorraine Stanley, who has played Walford favourite Karen Taylor for seven years on the BBC soap is due to exit soon.
Lorraine was given her marching orders by BBC bosses earlier this year after they decided to pull her character from the show amid a shake-up.
