EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt shares The Traitors ambition
"I would walk to Scotland to be part of it."
The Traitors spoilers follow.
EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt has shared his desire to take part in a celebrity version of iconic reality TV show The Traitors.
The soap star, who has portrayed Ian Beale on the programme since its inception in 1985, has added his name to the list of those calling for a celeb version.
Posting to Instagram, Woodyatt shared a spooky looking selfie in a Traitors’ cloak alongside the caption: “All caught up … and waiting for tonight’s episode. If they ever do a celeb version of [The Traitors] I would walk to Scotland to be part of it!!”

His followers loved his suggestion, with one writing: “Thought you were auditioning for Star Wars, Emperor Woodyatt,” while another added: “You’d be brill in it as you are in everything you do.”
An American version of The Traitors is currently underway, which does indeed feature celebrities, including Love Island‘s Ekin-Su and RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Peppermint, though there is no word on a British equivalent.
On the most recently aired episode of the British version of The Traitors hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the Traitors were tasked with murdering a Faithful in plain sight.
After successfully banishing Anthony at the round table (and having murdered Tracey the night before), Harry, Paul and Miles set their sights on Diane.
The episode left viewers on a classic cliffhanger, with Miles seen handing Diane a poison chalice before the credits began to roll.
