The teen refused, citing the fact his dad Ravi had killed Ranveer, before revealing it was Suki who had told him.

But it didn’t stop his family from dragging him back to Walford, before the police arrived to question why he had ran away.

Nish and Suki headed to the kitchen while he was questioned, and Nish immediately questioned his wife on why she had told Nugget.

As Suki explained, Nish seethed before he stood up and said it was her “guilt and shame” that was leading her to look for false answers elsewhere.

He said menacingly: “Nugget won’t lose his father or his grandmother, I won’t let it happen.”

As Suki continued to try and protest, he grabbed her roughly by the wrist causing her to gasp.

He then grabbed her by the throat and kept hold until she repeated what he wanted her to say, and agree to his version of events.

The episode was available to watch on iPlayer this morning, hours before it aired on TV, and a number of EastEnders fans took to X – formerly Twitter – to say it should have come with a warning first.

One wrote: “trigger warning for domestic violence in tonight’s #EastEnders episode. take care of yourselves.”

Another added: “Just to say if you’re thinking about watching #EastEnders on iplayer, it’s a very tough watch in parts, it needed a warning so just please be mindful and look after yourselves.
