Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) goes head to head with Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) in upcoming EastEnders episodes as she learns he is dating her daughter Gina Knight (Francesca Henry).
Shortly after Dean returned to Walford, he was revealed as Cindy and Ian’s (Adam Woodyatt) business partner. Because the couple wanted to open their new pie and mash shop, they had no choice but to continue working with Dean and deal with their friends and family reaction to collaborating with the person who raped Linda (Kellie Bright).
Coming up, Dean decides he wants to go public with his and Gina’s relationship, but she insists on keeping things quiet, fearing her family’s reaction.
After a chat with Ian, Dean decides to make a grand gesture to prove he’s in the relationship for the long haul.
He then marches into the pub with a bunch of flowers and declares his love for Gina, leaving Linda and the Knights sickened.
In the face of their anger, Gina bites back and tells her family she doesn’t need their approval and storms out, but shocks Dean when she says she wants some time alone.
Cindy then arrives and discovers the news and wants to go in all guns blazing, but George (Colin Salmon) stops her.
While Cindy is prevented from furiously confronting Dean, she faces the problem from another angle and decides to make him an offer instead.
Later in the week, Cindy tells Dean that he’s got until the end of the day to make a decision, but matters are made worse when he reveals what Cindy’s been up to Gina.
But what is Dean doing?
Could his new relationship with Gina be part of another plan?
And will he end up accepting Cindy’s offer?
