EastEnders spoilers: Jade Masood injured in dramatic incident leaving locals concerned
Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) returned to Albert Square in the hopes that he would be able to see more of daughter Jade Masood (Elizabeth Green) in EastEnders.
However, his return has caused nothing but pain for poor Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), who, since coming face to face with her rapist once again, has fallen off the wagon and begun to spiral.
She isn’t the only one who doesn’t want Dean around, and he has received a frosty welcome on the Square, from everyone other than Gina Knight (Francesca Henry).
Even Jade’s own mother, Shabnam, wants him to have nothing to do with them, though Jade doesn’t necessarily share the same feelings.
During her last visit to Albert Square, Gina convinced Jade to give Dean a chance, arguing that he was trying his best to be a good dad.
Since then, Jade has undergone a lung transplant, and Dean was left devastated when Shabnam refused to let him be there during the procedure.
However, in upcoming scenes, Jade will grow sick of Shabnam fussing over her, and will instead choose to come and stay with her dad.
Dean is surprised by her sudden arrival, but he doesn’t argue when she explains why she’s there.
However, it doesn’t take long for things to go wrong.
In the market, Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) causes an incident that ends with Jade suffering a nasty fall.
Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) are quick to rally around her, but will she be okay?
