EastEnders spoilers: Phil Mitchell at war with Nish Panesar as the killer moves in on Kat Slater
Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) is full of regret and anger in EastEnder soon as he sees Kat (Jessie Wallace) enjoying Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) company.
Shortly after Aunt Sal’s funeral, Sam (Kim Medcalf) discovered that Phil had cheated on Kat by sleeping with Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit). In true Sam style, she revealed her brother’s secret which prompted Kat to leave the Mitchell home shortly after, leaving Phil fearing he had lost absolutely everything.
Coming up, Suki (Balvinder Sopal) is suspicious when Nish offers to rent a flat to Kat – and it’s rent-free to begin with.
In the pub, Phil tells George (Colin Salmon) that he’s giving Kat time to cool down before trying to win her back, but she then arrives and declines his offer to pay for her drink.
To wind Phil up even more, Nish then steps in and asks him to leave Kat alone.
Back at Number 41, Priya (Sophie Khan-Levy) advises Nish to get on with his life as Suki isn’t coming back, so he calls Kat and asks her on a date.
However, Kat admits it’s too soon and says no.
Later in the week, once Stacey (Lacey Turner) gets word of Kat’s new love interest, she becomes determined to stop her from dating Nish and blurts out the truth about Eve (Heather Peace).
Kat marches over to confront Nish for answers but when he explains, she softens, and ends up agreeing to a date.
At Walford East, as Kat and Nish enjoy themselves, Phil walks in.
His jealousy increasing, Phil’s cruel jibes hurt Kat and she rushes out – followed by Nish.
Kat is unknowingly playing a dangerous game by dating Nish, but can Suki and Stacey put a stop to it before things get out of hand?
