EastEnders’ Patsy Palmer reveals latest stint as Bianca Jackson is almost over as she pines for family in America
First look pictures of Whitney Dean's Eastenders departure including Patsy Palmer have recently been released.
EASTENDERS star Patsy Palmer has revealed that she will soon be heading back to America following three weeks of filming away from her family.
The beloved character will be assisting her on-screen step-daughter Whitney Dean’s departure from the BBC soap in upcoming episodes.
Now that filming nearing its end, Patsy seems eager to see her family in Los Angeles, as she posted adorable pictures of her husband, Richard Merkell, and shared that it’s ‘not long now before she gets back to them.
She also shared a picture of her daughter, Emilia Merkell, on her Instagram story and penned: “Cannot wait to get home to my family.”
Patsy will be returning to her beautiful home in California, complete with a swimming pool and a fantastic outdoor living room.
For the past few weeks, Patsy has been working on Shona McGarty’s exit storyline as Whitney.
First, look pictures of the forthcoming scenes have been released, and they revealed that Whitney’s exit might end in tragedy as she’s hit by a car.
In the pictures, Bianca can be seen running to Whitney’s aid, but as of yet, it is still unclear whether this could be Whitney’s final scenes on EastEnders.
When filming started, fans of the hit BBC soap were delighted to see the legendary character back on set.
James Farrar, who plays Zack, posted a video of Himself, Patsy and Shona on the Eastenders set as they sang along to Whitney Houston’s song: It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay.
Shona also reposted the video and wrote: “ With my favourite people @patsypalmer @jamescfarrar.”
Speaking about her returning to the square Patsy said: “I’m so excited to be reprising the role of Bianca.
“EastEnders holds such a special place in my heart, so it’s always a pleasure to be back.”
Bianca was last seen in Walford in 2019, attending the ill-fated wedding of Whitney and Callum Highway, played by Tony Clay, amid the latter’s relationship with Ben Mitchell, played by Max Bowden.
