‘Are you mad!?’ Jacqueline Jossa hits back at accusations on her career
EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa has made it clear she doesn’t regret her reality TV experiences.
Following her exit from the soap in 2018, the Lauren Branning star, 31, participated in the ITV series I’m A Celebrity the following year – and was crowned Queen of the Jungle.
However, reports recently suggested she didn’t enjoy her jungle stint despite her triumphant win.
Posting on Instagram Stories, the In The Style ambassador told her fans in response: ‘At the gym this morning, woken up to news that apparently I regret my ‘reality star choices’ and regret doing the jungle.’
She continued: ‘Are you MAD!! I feel like I constantly talk about how life changing and amazing the jungle was for me. The best experience I’ve ever done in my life. LIFE CHANGING!
‘Can’t bare people ‘sources’ talking for me…. I’m right here babes… ask me!!!! Thankyouuuuuuuuuu.’
The actress left the show in a full-time capacity five years ago, but staged two comebacks in the last year.
The first was for the funeral of Dot Cotton in December, with the second being an appearance in June this year during a special episode set in France, which saw Lauren reunited with Peter Beale (Thomas Law).
Jacqueline was recently pictured filming scenes alongside actor Danny Walters (Keanu Taylor) and both characters appear to be at a funeral.
When news of her upcoming comeback was announced, Jacqueline said: ‘I’m really excited. It’s such an amazing time to be back as there is so much buzz around EastEnders at the moment.
‘I’ve been watching and loving it like a fan.’
‘Walford holds a special place in my heart, so it really does feel like coming home.’
