2023 has truly been a high point on EastEnders graph over the many decades that it has been on air. From some truly unexpected comebacks to stupendous story-telling, the soap has done it all. However, one of the biggest highlight of the year was the Christmas flashforward that dropped in February this year. The trailer teased the death of a mystery male character. While The Six – Linda, Kathy, Karen, Stacey, Sharon and Suki stood surrounding the body in Queen Vic.
All through the year, the soap dropped many hints, clues and red herrings to keep the anticipation high on EastEnders. And honestly, it has succeeded with flying colours! Now, with the advent of December, we are closer than ever to the much awaited storyline. The time to finally find out who dies and who kills them is upon us! The BBC One soap has officially announced the air date and time of the highly anticipated Christmas Special Episode.
Here’s When To Tune In For The BIG EastEnders Reveal!
The one-hour long EastEnders special episode will air on December 25, 2023, and will take up the 9:45 P.M. time slot on BBC One. Thus, making it the sole soap to dish out one whole hour of entertainment on Christmas day. As rival soaps – Emmerdale and Coronation Street will only be airing single 30 minutes episodes.
EastEnders has been dropping teasers for each of The Six women for quite some time now to build up the hype. However, recently, the soap released a mega trailer that consolidated clips from all Six previous teasers into one. Each woman was punctuated with the ring of a bell. Although, interestingly, right before the trailer closed, a seventh bell rang. We wonder what that means! There are only six women in the center of the storyline.
At least that is what viewers had been believing up till now. But what if there is a seventh woman involved in this EastEnders storyline? There has been so much mystery and enigma surrounding the story, that we can’t really write off the possibility of more shocks and surprises. But if a new woman is involved in this.
