BBC EastEnders Denise Fox in shock as Keanu Taylor ‘returns’ after Christmas death
EastEnders is set for explosive scenes next week when Denise Fox is left in shock as Keanu Taylor 'returns' after the dramatic Christmas Day death
EastEnders is pulling out all the stops next week when Denise Fox is left in shock as Keanu Taylor ‘returns’ after his Christmas Day death.
Soap fans will recall that over the festive period, The Six – made up of Denise, Stacey Slater, Suki Panesar, Linda Carter, Sharon Watts and Kathy Beale – grouped together to cover up a murder.
During the explosive episode, Suki’s abusive husband Nish Panesar tried to stop her from leaving him for lover Eve Unwin as he got aggressive. The Six stepped in, where Denise whacked him over the head with a Champagne bottle.
After thinking he was dead, he was able to be revived but during the dramatic scenes, Sharon’s jilted groom Keanu Taylor showed up and attempted to take her son, Albie, where he started strangling Sharon to which Linda stabbed him.

So far, The Six have covered up the murder by hiding Keanu’s body in the abandoned café following the fire, pretending Keanu attacked Nish before going on the run. However, while the women attempt to stay strong, Denise has been struggling after her necklace, with her initial D, was accidentally buried with Keanu’s body with the character unable to retrieve the vital piece of evidence.
In recent scenes, Denise has left her family and the other women concerned with her behaviour as she struggles to cope in the Christmas Day aftermath. In upcoming episodes, things go from bad to worse when it’s the day of the café re-opening but it’s soon revealed that there has been a leak, leaving part of the floor wet.
Kathy and Stacey overhear Nish insisting that the floor needs replacing to which they gather the women for a crisis meeting. A terrified Denise reasons that she must confess and seeks solace at the community centre with Pastor Clayton who encourages her to unburden herself with her inner torment.

Following the meeting and back at home, Denise prepares to write a letter to Jack Branning. Later, Denise hallucinates Keanu as the events of Christmas continue to weigh heavy on her. Does she go through with her letter to Jack and what exactly does it say?
It comes as EastEnders writer and soap queen, Sharon Marshall, warned viewers to “keep an eye” on Denise as the character “unravels” in upcoming episodes. Teasing the upcoming scenes on This Morning, soap queen and EastEnders writer, Sharon, said: “So Denise, keep an eye on her, she’s really unravelling, she is losing it.
“The necklace is in the shallow grave under the café, in fairness. She forgets it’s her own birthday, Jack’s trying to get through to her, is she going to tell all to Jack?”, teasing The Six storyline further, she added: “It keeps giving!”
