BBC EastEnders ‘figure out’ horror Whitney death twist ahead of soap exit

EastEnders star Shona McGarty is gearing up to leave the soap after 15 years playing Whitney Dean - but now fans reckon a tragic death could be in store for the character

EastEnders fans reckon they have rumbled how Whitney Dean is going to leave the soap – and it’s not looking good.

The character, played by Shona McGarty, has been a staple in the Square for 15 years. However, last year, Shona confirmed that she was leaving the soap in 2024.

Over in the soap recently, Whitney was over the moon when she along with boyfriend Zack Hudson (James Farrar) became foster parents. However, things didn’t go to plan when Ashton failed to adjust to his new life due to past trauma which led Ashton to be moved to an entirely different family, leaving Whitney heartbroken.

Then during Monday’s episode (January 1) Whitney found out that she is pregnant with Zack’s baby. But with her exit just around the corner, fans now reckon the character will be killed off in a heartbreaking twist.
