EastEnders fans have rumbled a huge twist on the BBC soap which could see either Karen Taylor or Keanu Taylor – or both of them – head to prison for their part in the fake kidnapping
EastEnders fans are convinced Karen or Keanu will end up in prison after spotting a clever filming clue.
Fans of the BBC soap are convinced they’ve spotted a clue which ‘foreshadows’ that Keanu Taylor – played by Danny Walters – or Karen Taylor – played by Lorraine Stanley – will end up in prison after the fake kidnapping storyline. The pair worked together to ‘kidnap’ Keanu’s son Albie from his mum Sharon after learning of her plan to take Albie abroad.
Now Albie is back with his mum, Keanu is clearly feeling guilty about all that’s happened whilst Karen is adamant in her dislike of Sharon, causing friction between the three of them ahead of the dramatic Christmas twist.

Eagle-eyed fans have noticed a clever filming trick in the BBC soap, and are convinced that means that either one of them, or both of them, could be heading for prison in a shock twist amid the kidnapping storyline.
Taking to Reddit, one fan wrote: “This ‘behind bars’ shot feels very deliberate,” whilst a second added: “I thought they do a shot like that. But who is it for though, Keanu or Karen? My money is on Karen for getting banged up for kidnap.”
A third shared: “I do love how much thought people have started putting into the show; catching onto symbolism or allusions. It’s refreshing to see such positive analysis these past few months,” with a fourth writing: “Foreshadowing what will be their ultimate fates … I really hope that he’s the body and Karen’s last shot on the show is finding out he’s dead while she’s in prison.”

Lorraine Stanley has confirmed she would be leaving the BBC soap in upcoming scenes, but we have yet to find out how Karen Taylor exits the Square – and if she’ll make it out alive. Writing on Instagram, she shared: “Hey everyone! I’m so grateful for all of your lovely messages this past week. Thank you to Daran Little for creating the Taylors and to the BBC for giving me the opportunity to play such a fabulous character, I’ll be sad to be saying goodbye to Karen Taylor and will miss all the cast and crew at EastEnders.
“However I’m looking forward to my next chapter and excited about being a jobbing Actor again and starting new ventures. Again your kind words of support have been amazing!!! I’m going to miss my Taylor/Baker famalam. Much love.”
