BBC EastEnders fans spot crucial ‘Christmas death clues’ in Kathy Beale scene

EastEnders fans believe they have spotted new clues about the looming Christmas Day episode on the BBC soap, which will result in a brutal death twist.

Viewers know that a mystery male character will die this Christmas, with one of six females tipped to be the killer. The moment was teased in a flashforward in February.

In the scene this Christmas, Denise Fox, Suki Panesar, Stacey Slater, Kathy Beale, Sharon Watts and Linda Carter are stood over a dead body in The Queen Vic, while the male’s identity is not known. It seems like a showdown has occurred as all the women are either covered in blood or their clothes are ripped.

Over the past few months rumours have been swirling as to who dies and why, with scenes on the show heavily hinting at certain victims and motives. Most of the women now have a reason to be the killer with a potential victim, while there’s still a lot to find out.

In the latest episode of the BBC soap, viewers believe there were hints at what was ahead. Some of the characters taking centre stage in December, including Suki, Kathy and Sharon, all featured in scenes in the latest visit to Walford. In the episode, Keanu Taylor was working on his plan against partner Sharon amid her possible plan to flee with their son Albie.

Kathy was facing a row with her family over recent goings on, while Suki found herself rumbled for lying about grandson Nugget. Nugget has been missing for weeks, and she failed to disclose to her husband Nish and his son Ravi that she was in contact with Ravi’s teenage son.

The truth came out with Jack Branning helping enemy Ravi in the latest episode, as Suki was caught out and Nugget was found. Viewers watching the BBC soap were quick to spot some possible clues in the latest episode that might tease who dies, or if anything in particular scenes has relevance to the plot or maybe the huge fire storyline that will air this autumn.

Some fans think the events of the fire storyline could lead onto the Christmas death. Kathy was wearing a white blouse with purple print on it, with purple being the colour of her dress in the Christmas flashforward – so was her wearing it while making a comment about murder a big clue to her being the killer, or someone close to her dying?

She said: “There’ll be murders before Christmas.” If this is about the fire, could it be a hint that the rumours Rocky may cause the fire are true? If it’s to do with Christmas, is it foreshadowing that a Beale family member or Rocky might die, or that Kathy will kill someone? Then there’s Keanu amping up his plan against Sharon – does this suggest Keanu is the victim with him possible rumbled?

Sharon also made a comment about not wanting to leave Walford as she has ties here. While this could have just been about her Walford history, could it be a nod to her looming tie between the other members of The Six after the events of Christmas Day? Viewers also noticed a lot of the men were wearing the same coloured outfits, so could these be the potential victims?
