BBC EastEnders fans work out Christmas victim after soap drops telling clue

EastEnders fans are convinced they’ve rumbled a clue on who will die this Christmas after a scene during tonight’s episode of the BBC soap

EastEnders fans are sure they’ve rumbled a new Christmas clue that points at the identity of the murdered male.

The BBC soap will air some shocking scenes later this year, when one man dies in suspicious circumstances. The Six women – Linda, Kathy, Stacey, Suki, Denise and Sharon – will somehow find themselves involved but in what capacity, we don’t know yet.

In tonight’s episode, eagle-eyed fans noticed something Priya had said to Nish, which they are convinced links him to the Christmas death somehow, and potentially means he may be the body on the floor of the Vic this Christmas.

In a scene that aired this evening, Priya labelled Nish her “knight in shining armour”. The word knight has quite a connotation to the East End at present, given that the Knights are currently the owners of the Queen Vic, where the murder takes place.

In the flashforward scene, there is also a knight armour stood behind Stacey, so could this hint at a ‘knight’ taking a key role in these scenes – and does this mean Nish could be the one to die this Christmas?

It has been teased that it won’t be long until Nish finds out the truth about Suki’s affair with Eve.

Speaking about what’s to come for the pair, soap boss Chris Clenshaw previously teased of the Suki storyline: “Suki ultimately makes a really big decision this autumn, which has huge consequences. Nish will find out about her and Eve, but I’m not going to give anything else away as I know everyone’s desperate to find out how Nish is going to react.”

Whilst we know the man who dies at Christmas is wearing a set of cufflinks, currently with Phil Mitchell, things are going to get more hard to guess, when multiple people end up with the cufflinks.

“You’re going to be guessing right up until the very last moment. As we build through the autumn, stories come into play for each of The Six, building toward a big crescendo. And, while Phil currently has the cufflinks, keep your eyes peeled as they may not be the only pair come Christmas,” he revealed of what’s to come on the soap.
