BBC EastEnders fans ‘work out’ Suki Panesar is leaving Walford for good after new scenes

EastEnders fans have rumbled a shock twist which could see Suki Panesar leave Walford for good.

The BBC soap aired some big scenes tonight as Suki found out that Nish wanted to get back to work on the café, and knowing Keanu’s body was buried under there, desperately she tried to urge him not to turn Kathy’s pride and joy into flats.

As they sat down to discuss the prospect, Nish seemed to be coming around to the idea of keeping it as a café – but fans are convinced he knows exactly what happened that night he was attacked by The Six and what led to Keanu’s demise.

Some fans are now fearful that could mean Suki be sent to prison for Keanu’s death, if the body is discovered, or Suki could be forced to run away to get away from Nish after the horrors of what happened to The Six over the festive season.

One fan wrote: “Nish is definitely plotting a way to take down Suki. He’s not going to move on. This is also ties in with my suspicions and rumours flying around that Balvinder is leaving the show. I think Priya was brought in as her sassy replacement.”

However, other viewers were not so convinced she would be leaving. “Don’t think she’ll leave. This will probably play out till the anniversary in Feb where Keanu’s body will be discovered and Nish will be framed for his murder,” they wrote.

Another mused: “Nish defo knows!!” before a fourth fan added: “I think he knows something’s up but doesn’t remember what went down. Looking forward to his revenge!” A fifth wrote: “He knows something like you said, can’t wait to see his part of this storyline.”

Balvinder’s character Suki played a huge part in the Christmas scenes. Before the big reveal, she said of the huge storyline: “I’ve really, really loved it. I’ve loved seeing how it’s all come together because I think when we first did the promo we had no idea whatsoever. There’s been lots of theories, ideas and opinions so you think ‘Ooh it could be this’ and ‘Ooh it could be that’, and ‘Ooh that sounds interesting’. Even us here, we all had our own ideas, and then when the scripts came we were like ‘Oh this is how it pieces together’. For me, it’s the finer detail that is breadcrumbed along the way that is more exciting, but it’s all been wonderful.

“I think people have been really invested and engrossed. I’ve seen all of these theories online, people writing almost thesis’ on the whole thing which is quite extraordinary. I think people have loved it and people are really looking forward to the reveal and are wanting to know, so we just have to make sure we do a good job and execute that.”
