BBC EastEnders Ravi actor reveals character’s ‘killer’ as fans fear he’ll die on Christmas day

EastEnders actor Aaron Thiara, who plays Ravi Gulati on the BBC soap, was revealed to be a possible victim for the Christmas murder - and now he's teased his character's fate

One EastEnders star has shared there is every chance he will be killed off on Christmas Day in a murder twist.

Ravi Gulati has been confirmed as a possible victim of the festive death twist set to air this Christmas, with seven male characters at risk. One male will die in brutal scenes, with six female characters the current suspects.

One of them is set to turn killer in a dramatic twist, amid theories of a double death and a possible teaming up of more than one murderer. New spoilers have revealed that Ravi might die, while other potential victims include Jack Branning, Phil Mitchell, Nish Panesar, Rocky Cotton, Keanu Taylor and Dean Wicks.

As for the killers, it could be anyone out of Linda Carter, Suki Panesar, Sharon Watts, Denise Fox, Stacey Slater or Kathy Beale – that’s if there’s not a secret member of The Six. Now, Ravi actor Aaron Thiara has hinted he could well be the shock death this Christmas.

Teasing his gruesome fate he also revealed which characters would likely kill Ravi, including a surprise culprit. Asked about a possible demise for Ravi he said: “I think there is every possibility of it.”

On the motives and who might kill him, he teased Denise, Suki and Stacey would all want Ravi dead. He explained: “Well it’s been an eventful year for Ravi. We’ve seen him have issues with Sharon and Keanu with the drug storyline and Keanu being attacked by Ravi. We’ve got the big one with Suki and Denise.

“Suki being misled that she killed Ranveer but actually it was Ravi, and Kheerat took the fall. This also brings in Stacey because she lost her loved one and then obviously the Denise affair which blew up and had huge effects which remised across the whole Square. So Ravi is tied up with a lot of the women which has been very eventful and interesting.”

On whether it could be Ravi and his thoughts on the past year, he added: “It’s been more than brilliant. The chops and changes, the turns, the ups and downs for the character.

“For the audience as well, to give them certain moments of colour where you go ‘Oh yep, it’s definitely going to be Ravi on the floor’ and others where they’ve gone ‘Oh, I’m not too sure’. It’s been very interesting to play, and very exciting to play. Loads of different emotions, and with that, all of the drama that comes with it has been a real joy to play.”
