EastEnders pictures have emerged of the wedding day of Sharon Watts and Keanu Taylor, with it confirmed who the groom is in the big Christmas Day episode.
Sharon takes centre stage this Christmas, as she and five other women are at the scene of a murder. Viewers know that a mystery male character will die, with one of six females tipped to be the killer. The moment was teased in a flashforward in February.
Sharon has been on and off with Keanu for the past year, with them ending their engagement. But it seems amid his cruel plan for her, he manages to convince her to marry him.

In the Christmas clip shown earlier in the year, Sharon was wearing a wedding dress which confirmed she would tie the knot in the episode but we had no idea who she would marry. Now it seems she’s marrying Keanu, and something about his outfit could tease he is the mystery victim set to die at Christmas.
The cast were pictured on location at a church filming the scenes, with a number of characters set to be in the scenes – including some of ‘The Six’. In the scene this Christmas, Denise Fox, Suki Panesar, Stacey Slater, Kathy Beale, Sharon and Linda Carter are stood over a dead body in The Queen Vic, while the male’s identity is not known.

It seems like a showdown has occurred as all the women are either covered in blood or their clothes are ripped. Four of these women have been pictured filming the wedding scenes, and it seems they are wearing their Christmas outfits already ahead of the reception at The Vic.
This means the scenes of the wedding clearly happen the same day as the murder, and possibly just hours apart. Something quite obvious in the images is that Keanu actor Danny Walters is hiding his sleeves. Of course we know that the person who dies at Christmas is wearing a particular set of cufflinks.
It’s hard to tell if Keanu is wearing them, but actually a number of the men are wearing similar if not the same suits and all of them could be wearing cufflinks. Some viewers believe Danny hiding his arms in some of the snaps could be a sign Keanu will be killed off, especially amid his recent trouble with Sharon.

Over the past few months rumours have been swirling as to who dies and why, with scenes on the show heavily hinting at certain victims and motives. Most of the women now have a reason to be the killer with a potential victim, while there’s still a lot to find out.
Recently, Keanu was working on his plan against partner Sharon amid her possible plan to flee with their son Albie. He and his mother Karen Taylor have teamed up to fleece her and steal Albie.
But might Sharon learn the truth and get revenge? With Karen leaving, might we see Keanu bow out too? There’s also the fact he was ‘killed off’ Christmas Day 2019, only to return from the dead months later. So might we see him actually die this time?

Sharon also made a comment about not wanting to leave Walford as she has ties here. While this could have just been about her Walford history, could it be a nod to her looming tie between the other members of The Six after the events of Christmas Day?
As for the pictures of filming, it’s confirmation Keanu is the groom and the wedding possibly goes ahead. It also seems to confirm that the wedding reception at The Vic is for them.
So this could well place Keanu at the scene, maybe for a showdown with Sharon leading to his death. But there are no wedding guests there… so where is everyone? What will lead to the six women and the mystery man being alone in the pub?

The wedding reception catering is not touched, including the cake, so it leaves us to wonder if the ceremony goes ahead or if the death is before it, or perhaps in-between the ceremony and the reception. Either way, someone certainly isn’t about to enjoy the party.
Other teased victims include Rocky Cotton, Phil Mitchell, Jack Branning and Martin Fowler who are all filming the wedding scenes. Not in the pictures are Ravi Gulati or Nish Panesar, who are both teased to die – but they’re not exactly friendly with Sharon or Keanu. We also couldn’t see Stacey Slater of Suki Panesar but it’s not to say they won’t appear.
