BBC EastEnders’ Sharon and Keanu’s explosive Christmas showdown ‘sealed’ amid DNA bombshell

EastEnders could be set for some explosive scenes on Christmas Day amid a wedding and a murder twist on the BBC soap.

Sharon Watts and her groom Keanu Taylor could be set for a dramatic showdown, with two huge bombshells on the way. Sharon, Keanu and her ex Phil Mitchell, amongst others, took centre-stage on Christmas Day 2019 when a big affair storyline tore one family apart.

History may be about to repeat itself though, with a possible death for Keanu and drama involving Sharon and Phil all over again. What we do know is that this Christmas, Sharon is set to wed Keanu – while she’s also involved in a shocking death twist set to air in the same episode.

Keanu is tipped to be the mystery male victim, and recent scenes have only fuelled this theory. Sharon seemingly has no idea that Keanu was behind the recent kidnap of her son Albie, amid his plan for payback and to steal everything she has.

Keanu was furious with her plans to move away without him, stopping him from seeing his son. But things got out of hand and a ransom note later, Albie was being searched for by police.

Keanu and his mother Karen Taylor orchestrated it all but he had a change of heart and decided to stay with Sharon. Albie is now back home with Keanu’s actions not yet uncovered, but some tests at the hospital led to another twist.

Sharon found out this week that Keanu could not be the father of their son, after all that happened almost four years ago. His test results confirmed someone else had to be his biological father, with Sharon realising Phil had to be her son’s dad.

She has yet to tell Keanu or Phil the news with fans expecting the truth to come out at Christmas. They also think the truth behind the kidnap and Keanu’s plan will come to light at the same time.

It could pave the way for some explosive scenes on their wedding day, with characters no doubt wanting revenge. With the pair set to wed on the exact same day a mystery male is murdered, with Sharon possibly the killer, are we in for one of the most dramatic stand-offs in soap ever?

After all it could come out about the paternity, leading to the revelation that Keanu took Albie with the help of Karen – who is leaving the show soon. If Sharon or Phil find out what Keanu did, he would need to watch his back.

Equally if Keanu finds out his bride has lied to him about Albie and that Albie is not his son, he will no doubt take drastic action. But will it all culminate in dramatic scenes and a possible death?
