BBC EastEnders’ Sharon threatens Kat as she uncovers her secret – but fans ‘rumble’ Christmas twist

EastEnders aired dramatic scenes as Kat Slater uncovered the truth about Albie Watts’ paternity on Wednesday – and now fans are predicting a Christmas twist.

The character discovered her partner Phil Mitchell was the biological father of his ex Sharon Watts’ son Albie, after a recent DNA twist. Sharon welcomed Albie almost four years ago, after falling pregnant amid an affair with her now fiancé Keanu Taylor.

Sharon cheated on Phil and a test appeared to confirm he was not the father of her child, and Keanu was. But this was all revealed to be false in a recent episode, as a health scare saw Sharon learn Keanu could not be Albie’s dad.

She realised Phil had to be the dad and despite initially trying to tell him, she ended up keeping it a secret from him and Keanu. Keanu has no idea about Albie not being his biological son ahead of his Christmas Day wedding – with both Phil and Keanu teased to die in a major death twist this Christmas.

The only person Sharon had told was her brother Zack Hudson, but after her decision to act like nothing had changed she soon let someone else in on the secret. In the latest episode of the BBC soap, Sharon was heard confiding in Linda Carter about her secret.

But when she realised alcoholic Linda was drinking again, she stopped talking and pretended Phil was not the dad – worried Linda would end up revealing all. The pair did discuss the matter again later though, as Linda confronted her in The Queen Vic toilets.

Sharon once again confessed her secret and that Keanu was not Albie’s dad. She then finally admitted to Linda that Phil was Albie’s real father, only for this confession to be heard by Kat who was in one of the toilets.

She stormed off with Sharon setting chase, and she soon begged Kat to keep quiet. Kat refused to keep this from her husband, believing he should know the truth about his secret son.

But Sharon threatened her, and vowed to ruin her life if she ruined hers by revealing all to Keanu and Phil. She even hinted to Kat that Phil could leave her for Sharon if the truth came out, given they now share a son.

Kat refused to be taken in by this, leading to Sharon’s sinister threat that she’d be out to get her if she said anything. But will Kat really keep the news from Phil?

Viewers think the scenes could lead to the Christmas drama, with Sharon one of six female characters who are the current suspects. But with fans convinced a seventh female will end up being revealed as the killer, many now think the latest episode has revealed who that could be.

Several fans think Kat is the seventh woman at the scene of the crime and could be involved in the shock death. But does this mean Kat could end up killing Phil or Keanu as Sharon’s secret comes to light?
