BBC EastEnders spoilers confirm who dies in café fire – and who survives – in shock twist
EastEnders fans are convinced they've rumbled someone dies in the café fire after spotting a clue in new spoiler photos, whilst the fate of another resident is confirmed
EastEnders fans have rumbled who dies in Kathy’s café fire – and who survives – thanks to the latest spoiler photos.
Spoiler pictures have been revealed today for next week’s episodes, confirming that one resident – who was expected to die in the fire – has actually survived, but it looks like tragedy is ahead after one fan spotted a big clue that they say proves someone does die in the fire, and it looks like it could be a much-loved resident of Walford.
Karen Taylor – played by Lorraine Stanley – is exiting the BBC soap, and fans had long suspected she might die in the fire. However, new spoiler pictures prove she is still alive next week and so her exit storyline must involve something else.

The eagle-eyed fan also noticed flowers in front of the café, which they believe confirms someone dies. Could Bobby Beale meet his end next week, or is Rocky or Harvey set to get caught up in the blaze?
Taking to Reddit, one fan shared a spoiler photo from the soap’s next week of episodes, writing alongside it: “There’s someone very clearly holding flowers and upset so someone definitely does die in the fire. Bernie and Karen also feature in the pictures.”
“I see Bernie. Where’s Karen? That must mean Bobby dies or maybe Rocky if he runs in to save Bobby,” one fan noted in response, whilst another pointed out it couldn’t be Rocky as they gave their thoughts on the storyline, sharing: “Rocky was in the spoiler photos from the wedding on Christmas Day so it’s definitely not him. I reckon it may be Harvey as he spots the fire walking with Jean and knows that Rocky is planning to do it so may go in thinking he is stuck in there, but saves Bobby and dies a hero. While Rocky will be riddled with guilt for killing his best friend and over Kathy being arrested.”

Fans were horrified by the possibility it could be Harvey. One wrote: “I hope we’re not losing Harvey he’s brill. Poor Jean,” as another added: “I think Harvey has become a good addition to the square and with Rocky leaving, Mitch needs someone to hang around with.”
Ross Boatman – who plays Harvey – previously spoke out about the storyline and the risk Rocky is putting himself at. He said: “Harvey is very worried for him. He’s worried for Kathy as well and he’s trying to do everything he can to persuade him to see sense, and for him to speak to Kathy and be honest with her. Harvey thinks that’s the best way to handle it all but as we know, Rocky doesn’t follow Harvey’s advice. He’s absolutely horrified that he’s considering something so foolhardy and so reckless.
“Again, he’s very concerned for Kathy as well because Rocky is lying and going behind her back, and doing the most terrible thing by burning down her lifelong business to try and get them out of a hole. It’s met with complete horror and disbelief and he continually tries to persuade him not to do it. Rocky convinces Harvey that he’s not going to do it so I think Harvey is quite relieved, but then at the last minute he cottons on and realises Rocky is going through with it but unfortunately it’s too late.”
