EastEnders will air some big scenes next week as Kathy’s café goes up in flames.
Rocky is getting increasingly desperate with his money woes and his concerns are growing on how he can pay back his debtors. Next week on the BBC soap, Rocky goes to extreme lengths to pay back the money he owes, setting the café on fire. However, someone gets caught up in the catastrophe with their life on the line – but will they be ok?
Elsewhere, Keanu Taylor finds himself in trouble when his kidnapping plan is nearly exposed by an angry Phil Mitchell.

Rocky sets fire to the café (

Next week on the BBC soap, Rocky is left feeling desperate about the money he owes Nish, but Nish has other ideas about how he can make the payment owing. He tells Rocky to steal a car from the car lot, but after a chat with Jay about what happened following his near-fatal car accident, Rocky decides against it and admits defeat.
Knowing his only option is to clean, he heads to the Vic to tell Kathy about his debt. However, a chat with Sonia sparks one last idea for him – he’s going to set fire to the café, which is already struggling with electric faults, and claim the money on the insurance.
Rocky confides in Harvey about his plan but he’s appalled, telling him not to go through with it or he’ll tell Kathy. Rocky continues to dwell on the idea but when Kathy receives an electric shock from a faulty plug, he tells Harvey he can’t go through with it.
Will Bobby be ok? (

Carried away in the bookies, he ends up winning a string of bets before losing it all. He has no option but to set fire to the café and heads there to execute his plan. Rocky tampers with the electrics and starts the fire before heading to Walford East for his date with Kathy. Whilst Harvey quizzes him on where he’s been, he remains tight-lipped about his actions.
A panicked Bobby sees the fire blazing and makes a rush to extinguish it, but in terrifying consequences, the fire explodes and traps an unconscious Bobby inside. Will he be ok, or will he meet his demise?
Keanu exposed

Keanu is at risk of being exposed next week for his part in the kidnapping of his son Albie. Police are still working to track Albie down, whilst at home, Sharon hides a £50,000 ransom note from the police, fearing for her son’s safety.
She later reveals to Kat and Phil about the ransom money and they offer to lend it to him to pay the kidnapper. Karen is worried about the consequences of Keanu’s fake kidnapping, before she – without his knowledge – drops a second ransom note revealing a time and location for where they should meet to hand over the cash.
Sharon knows she needs to go through with it, but Phil suggests he could drop the money off so he can deal with the low life that took Albie. Keanu refuses, wanting to do the drop himself. Sharon agrees and Keanu is worried he will be exposed.
Elsewhere, Karen and Keanu are terrified as they try and find a way to get Albie back to Sharon. He then receives a text from Karen via Keanu’s burner phone by requesting a drop off at the park for midday for the £50,000 but it must be alone. Karen meets Kandice’s husband Malcom at the park to get Albie back and tries to act normal over fear she’ll blow her cover.
