EastEnders are gearing up for their huge Christmas storyline and this week brings us closer to the big reveal as more secrets are revealed amid the fall out from the harrowing café fire

EastEnders will air some worrying scenes next week – as the fate of the fire victims is revealed.

Following on from the terrifying café fire at Kathy’s this weekend, the fate of Bobby Beale and his brother Peter Beale is revealed whilst the fall out continues as a shock arrest takes place on the Square.

Elsewhere, Alfie Moon makes a return but drops a bombshell on his family, what could he have to tell them? There is also some good news for Sharon and Keanu as they get engaged ahead of their Christmas wedding – but we know it doesn’t go to plan!

How will what happens on the BBC soap next week affect the residents in the run up to the big Christmas episode, which will see one man lose his life in shocking scenes with The Six women somehow involved.

Alfie returns

Alfie heads back to Walford next week from Spain, before going to the hospital with Linda to get his PSA results. Alfie feels bad when Kat tears into him about disappearance, but things soon soft when he reveals the truth.

Fire fall out and shock arrest

At the end of this week, we found out that two people are at risk – Bobby Beale and Peter Beale, who are both currently in intensive care. The Beales are still struggling with all that’s happened, with Cindy quick to blame Kathy for what happened.

After a heart to heart with George, Cindy goes back to the hospital appearing to have forgiven Kathy. However, it’s not long until the police arrive to arrest Kathy for her involvement in the fire – could she find herself jailed?

As the news spreads of Kathy’s arrest on the Square, she is questioned by the police overnight. A guilty Rocky heads to the police station but will he confess to his crimes?

A couple get engaged

We already know Sharon is getting married this Christmas, but we now know that Keanu is likely to be her groom after Sharon asks him to propose to her once again. Sharon is shaken by the café fire but later agrees to let Keanu collect Albie from pre-school.

Adamant she wants to make things work for the long term, she asks Keanu to propose to her again. The pair celebrate at the Queen Vic, with Sharon inviting Karen to come. However, she refuses.

Their excitement is short lived when Albie is asked to attend a hospital appointment. The pair are shocked by the revelation from the appointment, and both agree to have tests themselves amid their own worries on what this might mean for their family.
