BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s Bobby Brazier ‘bans’ family member from show after ‘friction’
Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier has been inundated with support from his co-stars, friends and family - but it seems one family member may have pushed things a little too far
Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier has reportedly ‘banned’ a family member from watching him perform on the BBC show.
The EastEnders star, 20, is partnered with professional dancer Dianne Buswell and they will be battling it out for a place in the competition on Saturday, December 9. The duo have been getting support from their fans and nearest and dearest since their first performance.
However, one family member won’t be in attendance this week or next week if Bobby gets to the final. After “friction” between some of Bobby’s family members, it’s reported he’s put some ground rules in place.

According to The Sun, Bobby’s nan – Jade Goody’s mum – Jackiey, is unable to watch the show. Meanwhile, Bobby’s dad can continue supporting him from the side of the stage.
A source told the publication: “There is a lot of friction between the Brazier side of the family and Jackiey for several long-standing reasons.
“But fans were surprised not to spot Jackiey, Bobby’s gran, in the Strictly audience. She now faces the possibility of either missing out on seeing Bobby before he leaves the semi-final, or not being able to watch him live if he reaches the final and bags the glitterball.”
Back in August, Jackiey expressed her pride when Bobby was revealed as one of this year’s celeb contestants. Reports suggest they share a close bond, with Bobby often taking breaks from his hectic acting schedule to message Jackiey.
She explained at the time: “He has to get up at 5am for EastEnders sometimes, so he’s always on the go. We always text though which is lovely. He likes to keep an eye on his nana, just like Freddie does,” the proud gran revealed.
