BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s Bobby Brazier says ‘I only have eyes for Dianne’ despite attention elsewhere
EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier has said that despite being inundated with female attention on his DMs, he 'only has eyes' for Strictly Come Dancing pro partner, Dianne Buswell
EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier has said the ‘only has eyes’ for his Strictly Come Dancing pro partner Dianne Buswell, after admitting that he has been inundated with messages from women since taking to the Strictly dancefloor.
The 20-year-old has said that his DMs have been full of female attention but he has been keeping focused on Dianne, 34, as he looks to progress deep into the BBC dance competition and rumours have been swirling about the closeness of their relationship.
Dianne is dating YouTuber Joe Sugg, who she met when partnering him during the 2018 Strictly series and has seemingly been playing down any romantic connection with Bobby, with her looking to maintain a teacher/student relationship with the actor, who is the son of late Big Brother legend, Jade Goody.

Speaking to The Sun, Bobby joked that he will “pay attention to a few of them” when asked whether he will act upon any of the offers he has received in his DMs, before adding: “But my eyes are focused on my Juliet, Dianne. She is unbelievable and performing every Saturday with her is so much fun.”
Dianne challenged that and said that Bobby may be a little flippant with his reply to what he will do with the DMs and admitted that “he’s definitely not an angel!”
During Strictly’s Movie week the pairing impressed the judges and viewers at home with their Romeo and Juliet themed samba to Candi Staton’s Young Hearts Run Free from Baz Luhrmann’s 1997 film.
Speaking about their relationship to stand-in host Christine Lampard, Bobby explained: “We spend so much time together [in rehearsals] all day every day together.” Dianne added: “So if we didn’t like each other, that would be an issue!”

Bobby then joked about their Strictly partnership: “There are times when I don’t like you, but then there are times that I love you.” He said that this was because Dianne “cracks the whip a bit too much” but this has been helping as he admits: “I think I’m getting better at working harder. You’re rubbing off on me in certain ways and I’m rubbing off on you in certain ways and I think that’s why last week went so well.”
As they progress in the competition, Dianne added: “We’re starting to understand each other a bit more, I even had to ask him for a break last week and he said, ‘No.’ He’s working really, really hard and it shows because it was a beautiful dance. We loved it so much and long may it continue.”
