BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans think Craig Revel Horwood might have an "issue" with Bobby Brazier after he made multiple "harsh" comments aimed at the EastEnders star
Strictly Come Dancing fans have fumed at Craig Revel Horwood after some particularly brutal comments after Bobby Brazier’s routine.
He danced with his professional partner Dianne Buswell and while fans and some of the judges were in awe of the performance, Craig wasn’t quite as impressed. Anton Du Beke pre-empted Craig’s fury and told Bobby that Craig would likely have an issue with his hands, and he was quickly proven correct.
As Tess Daly asked Craig for his thoughts on the performance, he said: “I do have a problem with your hands. They’re all I managed to watch tonight darling.
“You’ve got long arms, big hands, they need shaping. They really do, it spoils the line-up of the total dance.”
He compared Bobby’s hands to “spatulas”, before adding: “It looks robotic. You really need to – it’s the only thing that ruined it. It could have been a really wonderful dance but unfortunately it was let down by it.”
Bobby and Dianne ended up bringing in a whopping 32 points from the judges despite the comments. Craig gave them both a 7, while Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse both gave an eight out of 10 – Anton took it to another level and scored them both a nine.
While he had some nice comments, including Anton telling the actor he had “divine lifts” and an “exquisite” routine, fans were furious over Craig’s negative quips.
One user wrote: “I thought it was lovely, Craig is always so harsh on him.” While another said: “I think at this point Craig has an issue with Bobby. It’s every week he nit picks at small things and makes it a big issue.”
A third person wrote: “Why does Craig constantly have an issue with Bobby??? Never a positive comment at all.” While a fourth said: “Can someone ask Craig if he has a personal problem with Bobby? Because he never seems to find anything nice to compliment.”
Craig is notorious for his harsh comments towards the contestants and being very strict with his scoring, which he tends to give all contestants. However, fans were adamant that his comments towards Bobby were particularly picky.
