BBC Strictly star ‘exhausted’ ahead of final and has ‘reached end of the road’

Strictly Come Dancing is set to come to a dramatic end this weekend, but according to a body language expert, one of the final contestants might have reached "the end of the road"

Strictly Come Dancing is nearing its end as the final of the BBC dancing competition takes place this Saturday (December 16).

The final three celebrities to make it to the end of the show are EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier, Coronation Street icon Ellie Leach and Bad Education star Layton Williams. With the last three pairs preparing their final routines, a body language expert has looked at each of the finalists to see who believes they are in with a shot of winning.

Former Midlands Police worker turned body language expert, Darren Stanton, revealed that Bobby Brazier is struggling and is physically and mentally exhausted. He added that he may not have the strength within him to make it to the final two, saying he has “reached the end of the road”.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Bingo, Darren revealed all: “I definitely believe Bobby and Dianne are the weakest couple going into the final. They don’t display the same level of rapport and connection compared to the other partnerships.

They’ve been through so much together, but they appear to be exhausted. They are both tired out.

“If you look at the footage now, compared to when they started on the show, they aren’t showing the same levels of passion and determination,” he continued.

Stanton added that in his view, seeing the pair in the dance-off several times had made them more “pensive”, with the expert admitting he believed that the cheeky London lad was going home. He also said that Bobby and Diane themselves were sure of this fact themselves, as “they didn’t believe in their hearts that they were going to go through”.

He finished off his analysis on the actor saying: “It’s going to take a lot of hard work and determination in order for Bobby and Dianne to pull it out the bag during the final.” Darren went on to say that the final result would be a two-horse race between Layton and Ellie, as they both have remained consistent throughout the course of the show.

The final of Strictly Come Dancing will air on Saturday, December 16 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
