EastEnders’ Abi Branning ‘to return from the dead’ in shock twist five years after death
EXCLUSIVE: Abi Branning was tragically killed off from EastEnders in 2018 - but now AI reckons the character could be making some sort of a comeback in a huge twist
EastEnders’ Abi Branning could be set to make an appearance on the BBC soap – despite being killed off five years ago.
The character, played by Lorna Fitzgerald, made her debut back in 2006, alongside the rest of her Branning clan. For 12 years, she was a regular in Walford and was involved in several big storylines.
However, in 2018, Lorna left the soap with Abi getting killed off. Emotional scenes aired on Christmas Day, saw Abi fall off a roof with her sister Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) and was later declared brain dead.
The death of the character led to a fall-out in the square with mum Tanya (Jo Joyner) forced to leave Walford in 2018 after struggling with Abi’s death. Similarly, her sister Lauren also left the same year.
