EastEnders confirms fate of one fire victim but the other is close to death
This article contains spoilers from Monday’s (November 13) EastEnders episode, which has NOT yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.
Last week saw Albert Square rocked as a blazing fire tore through the café in dramatic EastEnders scenes, and left two lives hanging in the balance.
The fire was started by a scheming Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley), who was desperate to make an insurance claim in the hopes of paying off some of his debt.
However, things took a turn for the worse when Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) spotted the blaze, and headed in to put out the fire.
He was successful at first, but didn’t realise that his attempt to reach the fire blanket had turned on the gas, and when he attempted to turn the electricity back on, the whole place exploded, sending an unconscious Bobby flying across the cafe.
It wasn’t long before news of the blaze had reached the rest of the Beales and soon Rocky and Peter (Thomas Law) had also headed into the burning building, leaving a horrified Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) watching on.
Just as the pair had reached Bobby, the ceiling collapsed, leaving all of them unconscious.
They were soon rushed to hospital, where Rocky appeared to make a speedy recovery, while Bobby and Peter’s lives hung in the balance.
Fortunately, tonight’s (November 13) episode confirmed that Bobby had pulled through, leaving Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) relieved.
However, Peter was still not out of the woods, and had to rely on a ventilator to be able to breathe.
Poor Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) was left distraught, horrified that she may be set to lose another child.
Will Peter pull through, or will Cindy’s worst fears come to light?
And what will this mean for fire starter Rocky?
