EastEnders fans might want to note this down, as we’ve got some important news ahead of this festive season.

There’s lots to be looking forward to in Albert Square in the coming weeks, and nothing more so than the highly anticipated murder.

According to Radio Times, fans won’t have to worry about early spoilers as the explosive episode will not be released early on BBC iPlayer at 6am.

So everyone will be enjoying the Christmas special at the same time at 9:45 this Monday.

However, fans that are looking forward to seeing the aftermath on Boxing Day, good news, the episode will be available to watch at 6am on Tuesday December 26.

Sharon and Keanu wedding in EastEnders

Back in February, a flash-forward sequence aired that confirmed a dead body will be found in the pub on Christmas Day and The Six – Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) – will all be present.

The only clue as to who the victim may be was a set of amber cufflinks, and we were relying on those to narrow down who may be set to meet their maker.

However, this week, when Alfie (Shane Richie) arrived at Billy’s (Perry Fenwick) stall, it was revealed he’d be attempting to flog countless pairs of those amber cufflinks.

The festive episode sees Sharon’s ill-fated wedding to Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) get underway, but is inevitably doomed from the start, while Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) faces the wrath of violent husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry).

Elsewhere, Stacey faces the consequences of her recent actions with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), while Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) wants rapist Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) out of her life once and for all.
