EastEnders confirms Nish Panesar twist in Rocky story
Will Kathy Beale find out about the debt?

Rocky Cotton risks the wrath of Kathy Beale if he doesn’t cough up his debt to Nish Panesar in upcoming EastEnders scenes.
Next week on BBC One, we’ll see gambling addict Rocky confiding in Harvey Monroe that he owes Walford villain Nish money for a loan but can’t pay it back.
Harvey then suggests that Rocky ask Nish for a lower repayment scheme, but Nish tells Rocky that altering their contract terms comes with significant financial penalties.
Now more panicked than ever, Rocky will contemplate dealing with his rising debts — while his wife Kathy remains unaware of what’s been going on. And though Harvey attempts to be there for Rocky, he realises his friend is now in way over his head.
Things somehow get even worse for poor Rocky when Nish discovers Rocky has a gambling problem and is being deceptive about the loan repayments. Nish tells Rocky that if he doesn’t straighten out their debt ASAP, he’ll reveal everything to Kathy.
A worried Harvey later asks Rocky how he intends to settle his debts — and when he sees Rocky going into the bookies, Harvey makes a bold move…
Elsewhere on Nish’s plate is the revelation of Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin, who’ve been sneaking around behind his back.
“Suki ultimately makes a really big decision this autumn, which has huge consequences,” the soap’s executive producer Chris Clenshaw told Inside Soap this month.
“Nish will find out about her and Eve, but I’m not going to give anything else away as I know everyone’s desperate to find out how Nish is going to react.”
