FANS of EastEnders think that one Albert Square resident will be framed for the death of Keanu Taylor following the shock Christmas Day twist.
The build-up of the epic The Six storyline came to a head on Christmas Day when it was revealed that Linda Carter had brutally stabbed Keanu Taylor to death.
BBC viewers were left watching on the edge of their seats as the Walford women found them in two potentially deadly scuffles in nail-biting scenes.
With Keanu’s fate sealed and The Six already in panic mode about how to cover up the crime, fans have already begun to speculate that one EastEnders character will be blamed for his death.
Viewers of the soap are convinced that Rocky Cotton, played by Brian Conley, will be held responsible for the death.
Having opted to dump the body, they were almost distributed by a drunken Rocky stumbling around the square.
He spoke to murderer Linda who eventually managed to clear him off but fans reckon it is nothing short of a coincidence.
Rocky’s life is currently in the gutter after it was revealed that her was an arsonist who was desperate for cash after developing a gambling habit.
Having set fire to the cafe, he left Peter and Bobby Beale for dead in the blaze and soon his web of lies were exposed to wife Kathy.
Calling off their marriage, Kathy has wiped her hands of her ex and even trashed his name when speaking to her fellow Six ladies.
We also know that Brian Conley has quit the show and will be walking away for good very soon.
Could the hated Walford figure find himself framed for the crime?
Commenting on the scene on Twitter, one fan said: “I wonder if Rocky will be framed now that he’s turned up.”
A second echoed: “Is Rocky gonna go in and end up getting framed in the storyline or something?”
Someone else penned: Rocky is going to get the blame here. That’s his exit.”
The idea of Rocky being implicated somehow continued to swirl as another suggested: “I think Rocky might take the blame for Nish’s attack to protect Kathy.
“There’s motive due to the constant blackmails from Nish as he knew about his gambling and the cafe which affected his relationship with Kathy. He might get done for arson too.”
