EastEnders fans call out glaring Cindy Beale blunder as Walford rages against Dean Wicks
Dean and Cindy are closely linked as one fan pointed out
EASTENDERS fans have called out a glaring Cindy Beale blunder as rapist Dean Wicks returned to Walford.
Viewers of the long-running BBC One soap recently saw the sex offender arrive back in the Square after seven years.
Dean’s return comes as his daughter is seriously ill at a hospital nearby as she battles cystic fibrosis.
As expected Walford hasn’t welcomed the character, who is played by Matt Di Angelo, with open arms.
But while it still remains unclear if Dean has changed, fans have pointed out how Cindy Beale appears to have no knowledge of Dean or his past.
That’s despite David Wicks and Cindy sleeping together in 1996 behind Ian Beale’s back.
David is the half brother of Ian, with his brother Kevin Wicks being Dean’s father.
Dean has become Ian and Cindy’s business partner as the blonde bombshell signed on the dotted line before Ian filled her in.
Taking to social media, one fan said: “What I don’t understand is that, Cindy was with David wicks?
“Kevin Wicks’ brother, who I think is Dean’s dad? How could she not, at least, ask around about him, given that she knows his relatives?”
Meanwhile, EastEnders fans are still puzzled about how Cindy and Ian reconnected in France.
Back in June fans were left stunned as Michelle Collins returned to screens as the feisty character.
It was explained to viewers that Cindy and Ian were back together, but bosses failed to say how they found each other.
Fans have demanded a flashback episode to help explain how they both bumped into each other after 25 years.
