EastEnders fans have a burning questions as legendary couple return to Walford after ‘going missing’
WALFORD residents and the police are still looking for Sharon Watts' son Albie.
EastEnders fans were left confused after two Albert Square residents returned in the latest episode after a period of absence.
Viewers have taken to social media and asked ‘where have they been?!’ as the characters returned to help a friend.
On Monday’s EastEnders episode (November 6), Kat Slater and Phil Mitchell seemingly reappeared from the abyss, and fans were quick to question their comeback.
The troubled couple rushed to Sharon Watts’ side to console her after her son Albie’s kidnapping.
Kat and Phil burst through the door after learning of the news and offered to help pay out the £50k ransom money.
Some show fans were baffled at the pair’s appearance on the show after they seemed to have disappeared from the square for “ages”.
Taking to X(Twitter), one user penned: “Where have Phil and Kat been hiding? Feels like we haven’t seen them for ages # EastEnders.”
A second quizzed: “Where tf have Phil and Kat been.”
Another penned: “Why have I not seen Kat and Phil in months?”
During the BBC One episode, Walford residents joined the police as they searched for Albie in an attempt to track him down.
Keanu and Sharon were at her home in No. 43 as she continued to worry about her son’s safety.
Sharon concealed the £50,000 ransom note from the police due to the fear of retaliation, but later disclosed all to Kat and Phil.
Karen, who has now discovered her son’s sick games, fumed at him and revealed that she was worried about the consequences of the fake kidnapping.
However, he secretly dropped a second ransom note detailing a time and location for the cash to be dropped.
A fearful Sharon wants to reason with the kidnapper for fear they would hurt Albie, but Phil has other plans to drop the money himself and face the lowlife who took him.
Keanu profusely refused to do the drop face to face knowing that he might be caught out.
Phil then insisted on going with him, with Sharon agreeing to tag along.
Eastenders is on BBC One tonight at 7:30pm
